About Me

Hi y'all! My name is Kristin Haus, and I'm SO glad you're here. In 2011, I bought a camera, took a class, and started taking pictures of anyone who would let me! I love hanging with families and helping them create beautiful memories.

When I'm not behind the lens, you'll find me at our little house out in the woods, hanging with my husband Derek, our 3 kiddos and our two sweet pups, Woodrow and Gus. We bought and began renovating our dream home on 5 wooded acres in our hometown in 2018, so there's always a few projects over at the Haus house! My husband is a carpenter by trade, so I enjoy dreaming up projects for him to do (he loves it, *wink*).

I love to spend time outside hiking and gardening, and love to travel. I never turn down a good book or a home cooked meal (I love to cook!) I've done a little bit of everything career-wise: retail management, health coaching, and middle school teaching to name a few.

If I had to describe my photography style, it would be laid back and natural. I love capturing authentic, intimate moments, and hate when things look forced. Let's be friends!
