Fall is the busiest season of the photographer's year.
I can't tell you how many last minute messages I get like, "do you have any availability this coming weekend?" or "we'd love to book Fall family photos" when there's one week of fall left. Fall is always the busiest season because the colors are beautiful, the lighting is great, and we aren't sweating to death during sessions. But friends, PLEASE, book your photographers well in advance of the fall season! I've luckily had some room to book in a few last minute shoots, but I was booked for fall at the end of August!
Anyway, I'll get off my soapbox now so that I can share some images from my Fall mini sessions at Blue River Memorial Park in Shelbyville, Indiana. This is my go-to park in town, and it has so many great spots for photos! I kept my fall minis SUPER simple this year- no set ups or elaborate props. I wanted the images to be all about the families!
