Here at KHP, we're not scared of a little rain.
In the days leading up to this session, the weather forecast looked terrible. Now, I LOVE a good overcast day, as the cloud filter the light and make photography MUCH easier. But on my way to this shoot at Mill Race Park in Columbus, it started raining. I called the family and we agreed that we were going to suck it up and push through, and I came prepared with a few umbrellas. Luckily, the rain held off long enough for us to get all the shots we wanted, and we even had a little time to take the kids down to the river to play and throw rocks, which is always a favorite. It sprinkled most of the session, but I'm glad we made it work and didn't cancel.
Sidenote, I was obsessed with the girls' cute little corduroy outfits! I mean, how stinkin' cute are they? Honestly, the whole fam brought their A-game as far as outfits were concerned. I loved the mix of colors and textures they chose, and it all came together and photographed SO well! As you can see from the images, there was a lot of giggling and smiling during this shoot!
