A Long Time In The Making
I am so thrilled to share this session with y'all! A little backstory- my friend Blayr, who I've known since middle school, booked a fall mini with me last year (2021). Something came up, and we switched the session to a Christmas Tree Mini. Last minute, Blayr and her family couldn't make it to the session, and we've been trying to get them on the books ever since! I was so excited to finally meet up with the Jones family at Sunset Park in Shelbyville, Indiana, for some beautiful fall family photos by the river. We had originally planned to meet at Blue River Park, but Blayr texted me the day of the shoot to remind me that the city Parks Department was hosting a haunted trail out at Blue River. Thank goodness we realized that would not work; can you imagine showing up to your family session and the location is covered with creepy Halloween decorations!?
Luckily we pivoted, and met at the river instead. I'm so glad we did; I love how these images turned out! Blayr and Stuart have the cutest family, and I had a blast snapping these pictures for them!
