After a lot of deliberation, I've decided to start blogging my sessions, mostly because I always love so many of the images from each shoot, but also because only a few make it into my website portfolio, and a handful on my social media. By blogging, I'll be able to share more images from each session to really showcase what my clients are getting in their client galleries, and what new clients can expect from me!

I met up with the Hague family at one of my favorite locations in Shelby County- Blue River Memorial Park. Not only is there a great iron bridge, but the walking trail offers a lot of options for photographers. Theres a field of weeds (but pretty ones!) lots of trees, and if you're brave, you can slip through the trees down to the river!

This was my third time photographing the Hagues, but the first time that mom and dad were part of the pictures! I was so glad to capture their whole fam! Also, Harper decided that she was finally cool with me, and we got lots of smiles this time around!

After we got all the important shots, I asked mom and dad if the kids could get in the river! They had a blast splashing around and little Miss did NOT want to leave! I'm thinking river/creek mini-sessions are going to be a thing in the future here at KHP!
