A Stunning Mama and Stunning Location!
This was only my second time shooting at Coxhall Gardens in Carmel, Indiana, and man, its definitely my fave spot on the northside of Indy for sessions. There is so much variety on the grounds- a pond, barn, amphitheater, mansion, a wetland with boardwalk, the Children’s Garden, and more!
Rick and Jen are dear friends of mine, and I was thrilled to capture these memories of their second baby for them. I did maternity pictures for Jen when she was pregnant with Marley, who happens to be my god daughter (and is all grown up now!) and also took Marley’s newborn pictures years ago! I call Jen my cool, hippie friend, and her styling didn’t disappoint. I generally lean towards neutral colors for myself, and advise my clients to do the same, as it always photographs well. But Jen showed up with bright and eclectic outfits and they worked SO WELL! I was thrilled with how stunning these images turned out!
