There's a reason why Fall is a favorite among photographers and clients alike.
The lighting is better (you don't have to wait until 9pm for sunset), the fall foliage looks great in images, and I personally think that fall outfits are more interesting in photos! For this family session, I headed up to Fishers, Indiana and shot in the wooded area near the family's home. Such an easy location, and yet I love how the images turned out!
After we finished all the family shots, we went back to their house to get a few candid shots of the kids playing with their toys, and I'm SO glad we did. Hartley brought out her American Girl doll, Ayla, and the images are too precious for words. It made me nostalgic for the days when I played with my own American Girl dolls. I decided to edit those images a bit more whimsical and magical than my usual work, and I love the result!
