I was browsing Pinterest one day and this image of a girl in a river popped up, and I immediately had a vision for a gorgeous golden hour river shoot. So who did I call? My little sister who's always game to model for me, and is insanely beautiful to boot! She was less than thrilled when I mentioned actually submerging herself in water, but she was such a good sport and the session was EVERYTHING I wanted and more. Sure, there were mosquitoes, cold water, and rocks jabbing into her back every time I made her lie down, but it paid of! We ended the session with Allie jumping into the river from a rope swing we found hanging from a nearby tree, and then I bought her a cheeseburger to thank her.
I'm definitely thinking of offering family river sunset sessions in the future, because the light was incredible, and being near the water was so fun and offered so many angle and image options! Would you do a river family session?!
