Sometimes, you gotta brave the weather.
On the day of this family session, it drizzled ALL MORNING LONG. I texted mom and asked if they wanted to reschedule, or if they were okay with potentially shooting in the drizzle. The family agreed to chance it, and I'm glad we did! It drizzled for a minute or two, but quickly passed, and the overcast sky made for the prettiest lighting.
I love the golden hue of the grasses in the background and how well the Mayfield crew's outfits popped against it! The kiddos did such a good job, despite it being cold and wet outside! There was a lot of tickling, snuggling and hugs and kisses, which made for the sweetest pics and lots of FEELING in these images- my fave!
