Sunset on the river. Pure magic.
I was so pumped when Britney reached out and asked to do a family session on the river, and I had the perfect spot on Blue River in Shelbyville picked out. Golden hour did NOT disappoint us! The sun came through the trees so beautifully during our shoot! Everyone was such a good sport and humored me and all my ideas. Ezra was pumped to have his picture taken because he'd lost a tooth recently and was living his best life playing and throwing rocks the whole session. We snagged a few extra shots of just Hailee to celebrate her senior year at SHS. There was a lot of laughing and horsing around during this session, and I love how these images turned out. We OF COURSE ended the shoot with a splash fight in the river!
I met Britney and Eli couple of years ago while working at SMS as an instructional assistant and then a teacher. I chaperoned Hiking Club, and so did they. It also happened that one of my besties is really good friends with both of them. We traveled to Key West together this past spring with a few other couples and had a blast together! Isn't it funny how friends come into our lives and we end up with multiple connections to them?
