What a fun and crazy group!
Most families balk at the idea of doing an extended family shoot. You have to coordinate looks between multiple families, find a date that works with everyone's schedule, and find a photographer who's also available. But I was so excited when my husband's co-worker reached out about doing an extended family session with his mom and siblings! Imagine my surprise and excitement when I pulled up to their beautiful property in Martinsville, Indiana and saw a vintage truck sitting in the driveway! I was so pumped to use the truck as a prop during our shoot! It added a little extra something to the images, and made it easier to pose everyone!
Also, grandma did a PHENOMENAL job of styling everyone! Turns out, she ordered clothes for everyone and made it easy! I loved the mix of colors and prints she chose. It was fun to hang with this group, although I did have to use my "teacher" voice a few times to get everyone's attention- ha! My favorite part of the session included the family dog, Moose, and a couple of kitties that were running around the property! For as long as this shoot took, the kiddos were really good sports, too!
Now, I've got my husband searching Facebook Marketplace and Craig's List for an old truck that we can fix up! How fun would it be to have that for shoots whenever I wanted?!
