Senior Sessions might be my favorite.
Don't get me wrong, I love families, kids and babies. But it's also fun to focus my energy on ONE person during a photoshoot, and I love getting to know high school seniors and hear all about their plans for the future. I met Lauren through a friend of mine (her mom works with my friend), and we decided to meet up at Ft. Harrison State Park in Indianapolis because Lauren loves to be outdoors. It was supposed to start raining around 6:30pm and we managed to wrap up our shoot before it started! Lauren and her mom brought along their dog Ollie and I insisted that he star in a few shots!
Lauren, a senior at Center Grove High School, was a DREAM. Super sweet, photogenic, and had the coolest, 90s vibe style! She loves to read just like me, so we chatted about our favorite books. Lauren hasn't decided what she wants to do after high school, but is strongly considering attending the University of Indianapolis to study English Literature and journalism. I squealed when she told me this- I graduated from UIndy with a degree in English Lit, so we were basically made to be friends! Go Greyhounds!
