Gimme all the animals!
When a potential client messages me and says "can we do pictures with our horses and dogs?" the answer is ALWAYS yes! This session with senior Megan from Greenfield, Indiana was my second shoot involving horses, and I loved it! Honestly horses have always kind of scared me because they're HUGE and I'm short, but during this shoot I felt much more comfortable being around them.
Megan was the sweetest client to photograph; she assured me from the beginning of our shoot that she doesn't like having her picture taken, and said she rarely, if ever, takes selfies, which I found a bit refreshing to be honest! With a little direction, Megan came out of her shell and I think she's just the cutest! Her love for animals runs DEEP! In addition to caring for her horses daily (she does eventing with them), she also works at a stable, has two dogs and a cat that she loves. Her mom said they call her the animal whisperer, because all the animals in their family seem to favor Megan over anyone else! Not surprisingly, Megan plans to attend Purdue to study animal sciences, and I think it's safe to say she'll be amazing at it!
We'd hoped for a true sunset session, but it was a very cloudy day. Luckily, just as we were wrapping up, the sun peeked out for a minute and we were able to snag a few shots!
